Managing classroom dynamics amidst understaffing issues is a common challenge in educational settings.

Lilly, a member of the TPAA New South Wales branch, felt the impacts of this issue during a particularly hectic afternoon shift. Lilly, despite her best efforts, temporarily lost track of one student, prompting a performance meeting due to concerns about student supervision and safety. Lilly contacted TPAA for guidance.

With the support and advocacy of TPAA addressing the root cause of the issue, management were persuaded to roster an additional staff member specifically for the afternoon shifts. A decision aimed to alleviate the workload and stress experienced by Lilly and her colleagues, ultimately improving working conditions and enhancing student safety.

How is the TPAA so effective in defending members during workplace issues and disputes? Our experienced and professional case managers use our unique REDâ„¢ case resolution system.

Why is the TPAA different? We believe that real change in education STARTS with empowering educators, not bureaucrats.
